PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device for reproducing information without destructing information by reproducing the information by using the light of wavelengths which are not absorbed by organic dyestuffs in a recording layer containing the organic dyestuffs for recording the information as the light for reproducing the information. SOLUTION: This optical recording/reproducing device includes a light-emitting device 10 for reproducing, a light-emitting device 20 for recording, a read-out device 30, a storing part 40 of the optical recording medium or the like, and executes both of recording and reproducing of the information for the optical recording medium 31. A laser beam source 33 for reproducing the information emits a beam L1 for reproducing the information (a He-Ne red laser beam of 632.8 nm oscillating wavelength) and a laser beam source 32 for recording the information emits a beam L2 for recording the information (a He-Ne green laser beam of 543.5 nm oscillating wavelength). As the beam L1, with which a recording layer of the optical recording medium 31 is irradiated, is a beam which is not absorbed at the wavelength thereof by the organic dyestuffs in the recording layer at the time of reproducing the information, the recording of the information does not change thereon even when the recording layer is irradiated with the beam L1 for reproducing the information. |
