PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical machinery and apparatus housing box capable of preventing one side of a door from lowering by simple contruction. SOLUTION: An electric machinery and apparatus housing box 1 is provided with a box body 3 having an opening 2 in the front, and a door 4 which closes the opening 2 of the box body 3. The door 4 and the box body 3 are united with hinges. Bent strips 5 having approximately L-shaped cross sections are formed at the peripheral brims of the opening 2. The strips connected to the box body 3 of the bent strips make draining strips 6. When hinges are provided on the right side of the opening 2, extended parts 8 are formed by extending the bottom surface parts 7 of the draining strips 6 on the upper and lower sides of the opening 2 respectively in the left direction from corners. Along with it, tapped holes 10 for inserting screws 9 are bored in the extended parts 8, and inserting holes 12 are similarly bored also in the upper and lower side surface parts of the door 4 which are opposed to the tapped holes 10, when the door 4 is closed. The door 4 is fitted with screws by inserting the screws 9 into the inserting holes 12 of the door 4 and the tapped holes 10 of the box body 3. |
