PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feeding apparatus capable of decreasing the quantity of steam supplied from a waste heat recovery boiler to a gasification furnace together with heavy oil by integrating a saturator in an oxidizing agent feeding line extending from an oxidizing agent compressor for compressing and supplying the oxidizing agent to the gasification furnace. SOLUTION: Oxygen is separated from air by an oxygen producing apparatus, supplied to a compressor 13, heated to about 150 deg.C during the compression to several tens kg/cm2 and introduced into a saturator 14 through an oxidizing agent feeding line 12a. The oxygen is saturated with steam by contacting with water in a tray 15 of a gas-liquid contact column 16, accompanied water droplets are removed by a mist eliminator 21 and the oxidizing agent enriched with steam is blown into a gasification furnace 10 and reacted with heavy oil supplied through a fuel line 11 to promote the gasification reaction. The water content saturated in oxygen is 5-10 vol.% and 10-20% of water necessary for the reaction of heavy oil with oxidizing agent can be saturated by this process. |
