PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for enhancing fitting reliability of fittings. SOLUTION: A clip body 1 is embedded in the end part of an assist grip, and the clip body 1 is provided with a pair of leg pieces 19 which are narrowingly deformable. The leg piece 19 is formed with a locking part elastically lockable to a roof panel 14, and further a hooking part 21 is formed at the position of the side periphery perpendicular to the locking part. When a cover is inserted into the clip body 1, a guide surface 28 formed in the under end of the cover is slidably brought into contact with the opening periphery of a fitting hole 17, so that the hooking part 21 of the clip body 1 moves to lock it to the opening periphery of the fitting hole 17. Thus, the assist clip is fixed in the state that the clip body 1 is locked to the three sides of the fitting hole 17.
