PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the designing properties and the durability of a contamination preventive film and to prevent the discoloration of a colored base material by subjecting a stainless base material to heat treatment, forming an oxidized film on the surface, coloring it and coating the surface of the base material with a film exhibiting contamination preventability. SOLUTION: An oxygen barrier layer 3 is formed on a stainless base material 1 in which an oxidized film layer 2 has been formed by heat treatment and colored. Moreover, the surface is coated with a coating material having contamination preventability as a contamination preventive layer 4. In the case the surface is coated with the coating material (such as the hydrolyzed products of colloidal silica and alkoxy silane) having active hydrogen (such as a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, a thiol group, an amine group, an imide group and a sulfonic group) as the oxygen barrier layer 3, and the contamination preventive layer 4 is made easy to be bonded (adhered) with the oxygen barrier layer 3, it is brought into dehydrochlorination reaction with a functional group contg. active hydrogen on the surface of the base material, they are more tightly bonded, and the treatment of the surface excellent in durability can be executed.
