PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a burner, in which the quantity of fuel can be further varied by providing an ejector part for supplying a part of combustion air into a gas channel, and an axial fan for supplying the remaining part of the combustion air into the gas channel, thereby suppressing generation of NOx and realizing total primary air type combustion. SOLUTION: This burner 100 comprises an axial fan 4 for rotation or stoppage, based on an output signal from a controller 20. Since static pressure of the axial fan 4 is low, the axial fan 4 cannot supply the entire combustion air A easily to a gas channel, and the burner 100 employs an axial fan 4 having a capacity substantially equal to about one half the theoretical quantity of air for maximum combustion. Furthermore, an ejector part 3 is provided downstream of the axial fan 4 is order to compensate for the capacity thereof. The ejector part 3 forms a channel, where the position at the ejection opening 2 of a fuel nozzle 1 is constricted, and the combustion air A can be induced to the gas channel 6 side by the ejecting force of fuel gas G.
