PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment/removal of a paper cylinder for applying rigidity to a thin container body with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of forming a container body peripheral wall 2 made of a synthetic resin with a neck 3 standing to have a small outer diameter, providing a stretchable bellows-like protrusion 6 around a lower end of a small outer diameter portion 5, engaging the neck 3 of the container body with an internal surface of a lower end of a support cylinder 11 so that it cannot be drawn out, and then inserting an extension rod 12 into the container body 1 from an upper end of the support cylinder 11 via the neck 3 to be against a bottom of the container body to have the protrusion 6 stretched. The method further comprises steps of inserting a paper cylinder 9 from below into an external surface of the container body 5 to be tightly fitted with an external surface on a part of the small outer diameter portion 5 above the protrusion 6 and then removing the extension rod 12 to have the protrusion 6 shrunk.
