PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording disk which enables near-contact or low-floating record and is excellent in corrosion resistance by disposing a resin protective layer formed in a specific range of dimension from the outermost periphery toward the inside periphery on the basis of the outermost periphery of the disk in which recording and reproducing are performed by using a floating head. SOLUTION: This information recording disk in which the recording and reproducing are performed by using the floating head is provided with the resin protective layer formed in the range of 0.1-1 mm from the outermost periphery toward the inside periphery on the basis of the outermost periphery of the disk. Such a constitution makes it possible to enhance corrosion resistance in the outer peripheral part and, further in the recording and reproducing region, to adequately ensure the corrosion resistance even when the protective film is made to be thinner. Therefor, the magnetic or optical recording and reproducing of informations are desirably executed in high density by using the floating head. More desirably, the resin protective layer is formed in the range of 0.2-0.3 mm from the outermost periphery toward the inside periphery. Ultraviolet-curing type resins or silicone resins are preferable material as the resin protective layer. |
