PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a negative type image recording material capable of directly recording an image from digital data of a computer or the like and excellent in sensitivity. SOLUTION: The image recording material contains (A) a compound having at least one group of the formula, (B) a polymer capable of reacting with the compound (A) in the presence of an acid and (C) a compound which generates the acid when energy beams, electron beams or heat is imparted. In the formula, Ar1 is arylene group and R1 is H or 1-6C alkyl. |
