PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller machine which can clearly discriminate an owner of money in a device and can be used also for both a commodity reservation reception device and a retail shop money receiving machine. SOLUTION: This machine has a storage part (a bank storage part 9) for performing money management of a financial institution and a storage part (a shop storage part 10) for performing money management of a retail shop, judges a use purpose of an automatic teller machine 1 inputted from an operation input part 2 by a transaction sort decision part 8, changes update methods for both storage parts 9 and 10 by each transaction and controls whether it is necessary to receive and pay money from and to a money safe 5. For example, in the case of a transaction between the financial institution and a user, the money is received from and paid to the money safe and the bank storage part 9 is updated. When it is decided to be a transaction in the retail shop, the money is received from and paid to the money safe and the shop storage part 10 is updated on the basis of a quantity of the received and paid money. When it is decided to be a transaction between the financial institution and the retail shop, the money in the money safe is not moved but both storage parts 9 and 10 are updated by inputted money quantity data. |
