PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to carry out manual playing in compliance with the automatic accompaniment of the insertion pattern of a selected rhythm style even if the player does not memorize the number of measures of this insertion pattern. SOLUTION: This automatic accompaniment device is provided with an insertion pattern playing instruction section 54 which selects the desired insertion pattern and instructs its playing and a number-of-measure display section 57 which displays the number of measures of the selected insertion pattern at the time of playing of the selected insertion pattern. The number of measured of the insertion pattern is displayed when the playing of the desired insertion pattern is started. As a result, even when the player does not memorize the number of measures of the insertion patterns varying with each of the rhythm style, the player is able to recognize the end timing of the insertion pattern and to easily enjoy the manual playing met therewith. |
