摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a sure and sufficient braking amount, enhance responsiveness of speed control, and allow stable control, at the time of brake control using a chopping signal. SOLUTION: This electronic control type mechanical clock is provided with a generator for converting mechanical energy transmitted from a spiral spring into electrical energy, and a rotation controller for controlling a rotation frequency of the generator. The rotation controller is provided with a switch capable of short-circuiting both ends of the generator, and a chopping signal generating part 80 for generating two kinds of chopping signals CH31 different in at least one out of duty ratio and a frequency, and for synchronizing a strong brake starting timing for impressing the chopping signal CH31 for strong brake control with a rotor rotation detection signal of the generator. Since an input of the rotation detection signal brings a strong brake control condition, and since strong braking is actuated at the same time, speed control is stabilized and responsiveness is quickened.</p>
