<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, in particular for two SIM cards, capable of minimizing its vertical and transverse dimensions. SOLUTION: A smart card connector is furnished with an upper member 12 to support a contacting member 30 and a lower member 13 to support another contacting member 31 arranged at a certain spacing from the upper member, and these members 12 and 13 form a card slot 14 to admit insertion of two smart cards, in particular SIM cards, wherein a card contact 29 of one SIM card 27 is directed toward the contacting part of the contacting member 30 of the upper member 12 while a card contact 290 of the other SIM card 28 is directed toward the contacting part of the contacting member 31 of the lower member.</p> |
