PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a roof excellent in design and discrimination characteristic by mounting a decorative batten seam of the shape suitable for an arched roof on a vertical flat roof or a curved horizontal roof. SOLUTION: In this decorative batten seam for the curved roof, a cut metal plate is formed semi-cylindrical, and beads 11 different in height in which both the ridge-side bead and the eaves-side bead are successively lower toward a top part 13 of the batten seam are formed at a single part or a plurality of parts in the longitudinal direction of the semi-cylindrical formed body. The spacing (d) between the adjacent beads 11 different in height in the longitudinal direction of the semi-cylindrical formed body is preferably set to be equal to the effective length of a metal roof plate to be used for the horizontal roofing.
