PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repairing method of elevator reducing wasteful materials, unnecessary work, and continuous long-time suspension, in a repair work for equipment renewal by temporary operation suspension. SOLUTION: One ends of control panel side auxiliary cables 231 are connected to an existing control panel 5, while one ends of car side auxiliary cables 251 are connected to existing car side equipment 91. One ends of renewal moving cables 291 connecting a renewal control panel 15 replaced by the existing control panel 5 and renewal car side equipment 171 replaced by the existing car side equipment 91 are connected to the other ends of the control panel side auxiliary cables 231, while the other ends of the renewal moving cables 291 are connected to the other ends of the car side auxiliary cables 251. Thus, the existing control panel 5 and the existing car side equipment 91 are connected. Thereby, in a repair work for renewal of control-related equipment for the purpose of improvement of performance, the renewal moving cables 291 conventionally having been used can be used as they are.
