PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary throttle valve type carbureter superior in durability with smooth and stable operation and little dispersion in a fuel amount, by building a cam mechanism giving a shaft movement to a throttle valve following the turning of a throttle valve lever in a carbureter main body. SOLUTION: A throttle valve 21 is inserted in a cylindrical valve chamber 24, orthogonally crossing with a suction passage 1 penetrating the carbureter main body 2 and the turning and shaft movement are produced on the throttle valve 21 by the turning of a throttle valve lever 5. Plural cam surfaces 43 extending to a periphery direction are formed on the bottom of the throttle valve 21 point symmetrically on the axial center of the throttle valve 21. A tapered hole 44 for supporting a hard ball 42 engaged with each cam surface 43 is provided on a bottom 24a of the valve chamber 24 and the hard ball 42 is pressed and supported in each tapered hole by the insertion of a columnar press in jig to the valve chamber 24. |
