PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device by which horizontal linearity with high accuracy can be obtained independently of factors deteriorating the horizontal linearity. SOLUTION: A horizontal deflection current I1 is detected, a positive maximum amplitude of the horizontal deflection current I1 is compared with a negative maximum amplitude of the horizontal deflection current I1 and an inductance of a horizontal linearity correction transformer 12 interposed in a flowing path of the horizontal deflection current I1 is controlled so that they are equal to each other. Since this system is a feedback system that detects the horizontal deflection current I1 to control this horizontal deflection current I1, the horizontal linearity can be obtained with high accuracy independently of factors deteriorating the horizontal linearity. |
