PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up restoration to an old version program and to shorten a program unusable state in the case of a failure in update into a new version program by restoring a program to the state before the program is updated into the new program according to the contents of a backup file. SOLUTION: According to a program main body 21 and an file 22 to be restored, backup data 23 are generated through a path different from the program main body 21. The contents of files file 1, file 11, and file 12 of the program main body 21 are updated into the contents of file 1, file 11, and file 12 of a program main body 12. It is confirmed whether or not all program modules are updated normally from return information. When a normal return is obtained through the confirmation, the backup data 23 which become unnecessary are deleted. Consequently, the actual contents of the program main body 21 and restoration object file 22 are updated into the contents regarding the program main body 12 from the contents regarding the program main body 11. |
