PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a polymeric dispersant for soils for ground excavation, conditioning, or the like, which is suitable for dispersing soils, or the like, and exerts little effect on the environment, and also a conditioner for excavated muddy water and a water reducing agent for ground injection technique using this dispersant for soils. SOLUTION: A poly(meth)acrylic acid (salt) polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 or larger than a ratio of weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight of within the range of from 1.3 to 2.9, is used as a dispersant for soils. Otherwise, a poly(meth)acrylic acid (salt) polymer wherein the product (A×B) of the gelation resistance (A) and the chelating property (B) is 18,000 or larger, is used as a dispersant for soils. |
