PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary power consumption by putting a water detecting means in an inactive state when shifting a mode to an altitude measuring mode. SOLUTION: A mode selecting means 2 selects a clocking mode in an initial state, and a display selecting means 7 selects time data from a clocking functional means 4 and displays time on a display means 8. When an altitude mode shifting switch is operated, a switch control circuit 11 shifts the mode selecting means 2 into an altitude measuring mode. An altitude measuring means 5 starts action upon receiving an altitude measuring mode signal and outputs altitude data. The display selecting means 7 also shifts its output to altitude data, and the display means 8 displays altitude measured data. In the altitude measuring mode, a water detecting means 3 is put in an inactive state, and a water depth measuring means 6 does not act. When shifting from a water depth measurement preparation mode to the altitude measuring mode, an alarm means 9 gets the display means 8 to make an alarm display. |
