PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sacrificial anode material for underground buring easy in operability at the time of producing and buring, excellent in mass- producibility and having performance aqual to or above that of a conventional product. SOLUTION: This material is composed of an anode of metal such as magnesium or the alloy thereof and a biodegradable resincontg. back-fill compacted body covering the anode and molded and soldified into a prescribed shape. This sacrificial anode material is produced by molding and solidifying a compsn. obtd. by adding back-fill powder essentially consisting of bentonite with a biodegradable resin by external pressure so as to wrap the anode. Therefore, there is no generation of dust at the time of producing and buring, it is excellent in operability and mass-producibility, and, moreover, the biodegradable resin in the back-fill compacted body is decomposed in the process of the buring and does not remain in the ground. |
