PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen power loss in an overall device, reduce the weight of, and enhance the cost performance of the device with respect to a so-called 'direct- current power supply with load compensation' which receives alternating currents, rectifies them, and while charging a secondary battery, adjusts the load voltage without giving change in voltage during charging to a load. SOLUTION: Power is supplied directly from a rectifying device for supplying power to a load without intervention of a load compensating means, and another rectifying device is connected with a secondary battery B. A load compensating means C is connected between the secondary battery B and the load 4, and the load compensating means functions to hold back the differences in voltage between the two rectifying devices to reduce power loss. A power supply portion rectifies received alternating current, converts it in alternating current of a high frequency at an inverter I, and together with a small-sized, light-weight transformer and a rectifier corresponding to the frequency, forms a direct current generating means. |
