PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella for rolling up gore part capable of closing the wet umbrella at the time of rainfall, rolling up a gore part around a rod and further fixing the gorge part by rolling up an attached small band without making hands wet. SOLUTION: Self-curving materials 5 are attached in the shape of band so as to make curving directions alternately opposite on front and rear sides with a central portion between two adjacent ribs 3, namely, with a linear folding 4, which is generated on a gore part 2 when an umbrella 1 is closed, and the rib 3 as a boundary along with all the outer edges of the gore parts 2 of the spread umbrella 1. Further, the attached small band for fixing the entire gore parts 2 by rolling up the gore parts rolled around a rod 6 of the closed umbrella 1 at one spot in axial direction is made of a loop-shaped material, which is fixed in almost the same size along the outer periphery of the closed umbrella 1, elastic and easy to deform.
