PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separating device to be decreased in size and superior in separation capacity and moreover perform treatment at a low cost. SOLUTION: This device comprises a main cylinder 5 in which a solid liquid mixture is charged, a main screw 6 incorporating the main cylinder and feeding forward a solid liquid mixture, a means to heat the solid liquid mixture fed forward through rotation of the main screw, and an exhaust port 13 formed in the main cylinder and discharging heated and gasified gas. Auxiliary cylinders 8 and 8, incorporating auxiliary screws 9 and 9' are connected to the exhaust port 13, the auxiliary screws are rotated to return a solid substance to the main cylinder 5, and gas is discharged.
