PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by miniaturizing the constitution of a gear shift operation device. SOLUTION: A circular shift plate 30 is arranged at the side of a transmission case 12 and shift arms 37 and 38 to move shifters 35 and 36 are provided at the both sides thereof. A single guide groove 41 bent corresponding to a movement amount necessary to the shift arms 37 and 38 is formed in the peripheral direction of a shift plate 30. When the shift plate 30 is rotated, the shift arms 37 and 38 are oscillated by the guide groove 41, and the shifter 35 and 36 are moved to a gear shift position.
