PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a random number generator capable of satisfying features such as statistical uniformity and non-correlation to be required for random numbers. SOLUTION: The random number generator 1 is provided with a timer device 15 capable of counting the time width of a unit <=1/1000 sec and a CPU 11 for irregularly providing a trigger to the timer device 15 and outputting time (g) (0<=g<=k-1) of a 1/k unit (k is an optional natural number) applied by the trigger as random numbers >=0 and <=k-1. |
