PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the life of an auxiliary bearing separately provided from a main bearing, and also to prevent the function of the main bearing from being affected even when the auxiliary bearing is worn by galvanic corrosion by elastically supporting the outer wheel of the auxiliary bearing interlocked to a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: A sleeve 3 is inserted between auxiliary and main bearings 2 and 24, and a support 4 supports the outer ring of the auxiliary bearing 2 for fixing and is manufactured by a conductive material with elasticity (spring) operation, thus preventing a load from being applied to the auxiliary bearing 2, and hence lengthening the life of the auxiliary bearing itself. On the other hand, when the auxiliary bearing is subjected to galvanic corrosion by current flowing to the auxiliary bearing, the auxiliary bearing is supported by elasticity (spring), thus preventing motor characteristics from being affected even it deteriorates to some extent. As a result, even when a rotating machine is driven by an inverter or the like, the rotating machine with long life without the galvanic corrosion can be obtained. |
