PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacking container wherein a fitting depth can be limited without providing longitudinal ribs on an outer peripheral surface or an inner peripheral surface to improve appearance, and wherein disturbance to handling received contents may be avoided. SOLUTION: The container comprises an inner step 15 provided on an inner peripheral surface 18 of a barrel 12 and an outer step 16 provided on an outer peripheral surface 10 of the barrel 12. The inner step 15 is an upper end surface of a thick part 17 formed at a corner 14 of the barrel 12, and the outer step 16 is a lower end surface of the thick part 17. The thick part 17 is formed with a thickness of the barrel 12 increased while smooth continuity in a peripheral direction on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces 18, 19 of the barrel 12 is kept. When a pair of stacking containers 10 are to be fitted with each other in a vertical direction, the outer step 17 of an upper container 10 is brought into contact with the inner step 15 of a lower container 10, thereby limiting a fitting depth of the stacking containers 10. |
