PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of large burrs at the cut end of an electrode web, in particular the cut end of a metal foil current collector constituting an electrode web, by eliminating sticking to a cutter blade, etc., for shearing a gel layer at the time of shearing the electrode web where a gel layer having elasticity and stickiness is formed. SOLUTION: A battery web 20 is sheared to make a work for positive electrode and a work for negative electrode, and these are laminated or wound round alternately so that a battery element is fabricated, and at this time, an electrode active material layer 22 is applied on a metal foil current collector 21, and further on the layer 22 a gel-form electrolyte layer 23 is applied so that an electrode web 20 is fabricated, and then a sheet-form member 24 is affixed to the surface of the electrolyte layer 23, and the electrode web 20 is sheared together with the sheet-form member 24. |
