PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for race improving a damping capacity without impairing a resistance to cutting and a weatherability in side area. A side area 10 ranging 55 to 100% H from the bead core center Q of the bead 1 consists of an inner layer 11 composed of a compound disposed outside carcass layer and having a tanδ(20 deg.C) of 0.25 to 1.00, and an outer layer 12 composed of a compound disposed outside the inner layer 11 and having a tanδ(20 deg.C) of 0.15 to 0.20.
