PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remodeled floor and a floor remodeling method in which a soft floor can be easily remodeled into a hard floor, and the remodeling work can be facilitated. SOLUTION: An intermediate member to which a hard floor material 5 is mounted in advance is placed on a soft floor in which a carpet 3 as a soft floor material is mounted on a floor substrate 2, and the intermediate member 4 is fixed by nails 12 reaching the floor substrate 2 at a fixing piece 4C. The hard floor materials 5 which are mounted on the respective intermediate members 4 and adjacent to each other are connected to each other by a tongue 7 and a groove 8.
