<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner excellent in releasability and not requiring the use of a silicon oil as a releasing agent for fixation when the toner is fixed on a transfer medium by using a composition containing a silicone solid having a melting point or a softening point. SOLUTION: The toner is a composition comprising a bonding resin, a silicone solid having a melting point or a softening point, a colorant and an electrostatic charge controlling agent. Since a silicone solid having a melting point or softening point is included, characteristics such as releasability and heat resistance peculiar to the silicone are imparted to the toner, the deterioration of flowability due to aggregation under heat is not caused and the toner has excellent anti-offsetting properties, that is, releasability. When the silicone solid is prepared by allowing an organic functional group-containing wax to react with an organic functional silicone, the toner is more excellent in releasability.</p> |
