PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method by which a variety of inks can be stably mixed, even when the discharge directions of a plurality of inks are deviated from each other or the printing order is unstable. SOLUTION: First, a liquid 6d with low penetrability is printed on a recording medium 20, and a plurality of inks 2d, 3d, 4d, 5d are discharged onto the liquid 6d and further, the inks 2d, 3d, 4d, 5d are mixed in the liquid 6d with low penetrability. Next, the mixture is made to penetrate the recording medium 20 to realize the printing. Thus the inks 2d, 3d, 4d, 5d are stably mixed to enable printing of a high quality image. |
