PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric switch device of very simple structure and exerting the effect to suppress the cost. SOLUTION: A first switch contact 22 is blanked out from a metal plate material having a base 32 and a resilient contact arm 34 of consolidated structure formed by folding on the base 32 in the cantilever supported condition, and the resilient contact arm 34 has a tip 36 directed as going apart from the base 32 whereas the first contact surface 40 makes displacement to one side of the resilient contact arm 34, and a second switch contact 24 has a second contact surface 30 opposing to the base 32 of the first switch contact 22 in the position opposing to the engaging direction with the first contact surface 40, whereby the first contact surface 40 is moved in the direction of going apart from the second contact surface 30 of the second switch contact 24 with the motion of the first switch contact 22 directed toward the base 32 of the resilient contact arm 34.
