PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask reducing suffocation when worn, and preventing fouling of a mask body by saliva and mucus clinging thereto. SOLUTION: When a mask body 11 covers the mouth and the nose, an under- nose space (a) is secured beneath the nostrils by a pad 13 for use in public. Thus, the center portion of the mask body 11 covering the mouth and the nose resists sinking even if respiration is repeated. As a result, difficulty with respiration resulting from this part covering the mouth and the nose is reduced. When the mask is worn, sticking of the mask body 11 to the mouth and the noise is avoided by securing the under-nose space (a). Thus, the mask body 11 can resist fouling by the user's saliva and mucus. |
