PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior member, and an indoor remodeling method in which the inside of an apartment house can be remodeled in a short time, and dew condensation on an indoor wall surface can be prevented. SOLUTION: This interior member comprises a finishing member 8 which is formed in a long plate, and in which a projecting part 8A extending along the longitudinal direction is formed on one side edge portion and a recessed part 8B of the shape corresponding to that of the projecting part 8A is formed on the other side edge portion, and an anchoring member 12 to fix the finishing member 8 on a substrate wall surface so that a space is formed between the finishing member 8 and the substrate wall surface on which the finishing member 8 is fixed.
