PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for using a server connected to a network where an image forming device and information are efficiently managed by processing the information relating to the image forming device by collecting and distributing the information relating to a plurality of the image forming devices installed at an output center and a mini-lab or the like on the network and to obtain a server system. SOLUTION: In the method for using this server and the server system, servers 11, 12 store information of a state of an image forming device distributed from a plurality of image forming devices 21, 22, 23 connected to the servers 11, 12 via a web server 13 and information about the image forming processing result. Furthermore, the servers 11, 12 store data of software for controlling the image forming devices and of software for image processing. The servers distribute the information sets to the image forming devices and the image forming devices distribute the information to the servers. |
