PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying electronic components using tray feeder by which electronic components can be supplied efficiently, even when many kinds of electronic components are to be supplied. SOLUTION: In a method for supplying electronic components in which pallets on which trays housing electronic components are successively taken out from a magazine and supplied to the picking-up position of the transfer head of an electronic component mounting device, the speed patterns of the drive speed of a pulling-out section which pulls out the pallets from the magazine and the drive speed of an elevating/lowering section, which elevates and lowers the pulling-out section are set, based on stability data which are prestored by each kind of electronic components and stored in a storing section 43. When electronic component supplying operations are performed, elevating/lowering sections 36 and 37 are driven, based on the data about the speed patterns read out in accordance with the electronic components. Therefore, the supplying efficiency of the electronic components can be improved, without causing transfer trouble by transferring the electronic components at appropriate speed corresponding to the kind of components. |
