PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road sign column capable of enhancing visibility as a sign, of absorbing and relaxing an impact force at the time of collision of a vehicle, of securing self-recovering ability, of preventing damages to the vehicle and of preventing damage to and scatter of the light-emitting source. SOLUTION: A main body 1 of a cylindrical column installed in an erected posture on a road surface is made of elastomer. At the upper end side of this opening of the column main body 1, a cap 4 formed of transparent or translucent elastomer is jointed to one united body with an adhesive or by heat- welding, and a light emitting source 5 such as a light-emitting diode is stored and arranged inside the cap 4. |
