CARGO HANDLING GEAR AND INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE FOR CARGO WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling gear or a cargo handling industrial vehicle having the cargo handling gear capable of rationalizing the whole constitution while securing sufficient output necessary for cargo work. SOLUTION: This cargo handling gear 101 has an engine 111, a generator- motor 113, an electric storage means 115 and a cargo handling means 118. The generator-motor 113 has one of a power generator mode wherein the generator-motor 113 is driven by the engine 111 to generate power and an electric motor mode wherein the motor 113 is received drive power from the electric storage means 115 to function as a electric motor. The cargo handling means 118 can be switched between a first drive mode wherein the cargo handling means 118 is driven by the engine 111 to execute cargo work and a second drive mode wherein the cargo handling means 118 is driven by both the engine 111 and the generator-motor 113 in the electric motor mode to execute the cargo work.
