<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive air bag with a good expanding performance having layered compartments. SOLUTION: An air bag 1 comprises a first base cloth 21, a second base close 22, and an intermediate close 23 disposed therebetween, in which the intermediate base close 23 partitions the inside of the air bag 1 into a first compartment 25 and a second compartment 26. The compartments 25 and 26 are communicated with each other through a communication port 31 provided in the outer peripheral part of the intermediate base cloth 23. The second base cloth 22 and the intermediate base close 23 are sewn up together at four annular attachment parts 33 provided around a gas introduction port 28. Additionally, a discharge port 35 for communicating the second compartment 26 with the outside is formed inside one of the annular attachment parts 33.</p> |
