PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for buildings which is excellent in strength and surface designability and is resistant to warpage. SOLUTION: A backing plate in which a cement mixture layer is formed on a substrate through a water-proofing layer is prepared, and a lightweight cement-molded plate is produced by extrusion-molding a lightweight cement mixture obtained by adding at least foamed synthetic resin particles, aggregate, reinforcing fibers, and mixing water into cement. Before the molded plate being died/cured, it is mounted on the mixture layer, and its surface is pressed and dried/cured by heating to produce a plate for buildings. To the lightweight cement mixture, 35 wt.% or below based on its total weight of cement is added to have 150-250 wt.% based on the weight of the cement of the aggregate and 2-9 wt.% of the reinforcing fibers. It is preferable for the cement mixture layer to have an uneven surface. In this way, the light weight cement layer is laminated anchoringly on the uneven surface of the cement mixture layer. |
