PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control quality by preventing a feeling of G diminishing from occurring on a highμroad at the time of an emergency decompression process when it is controlled by ABS. SOLUTION: This brake control device comprises a controlling means (d) adapted to perform an ABS control which operates a braking unit (a) to prevent wheel locking according to a pseudo car body speed and a wheel speed, of which the controlling means (d) finds a target wheel speed capable of obtaining a braking force effectively and an emergency decompression threshold value slower than the target wheel speed, and is formed so as to perform a normal ABS process adapted to decompress and intensify not to have the wheel speed much lowered than the target wheel speed for having a wheel locked, and an emergency decompression process adapted to operate appointed decompression when the wheel speed gets lower than the emergency decompression threshold. In this case, as an emergency decompression process, the controlling means (d) is mounted to perform one decompression operation to end with outputting an appointed pulse.
