PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent spray stuck on an opening/closing door of a commodity take-out port and to normally maintain the opening/closing door hygienic so as to make it possible to comfortably utilize a machine. SOLUTION: In this automatic vending machine, a vend stage 11 is provided facing a commodity take-out port 7, an opening/closing door 9 is provided at the take-out port 7, a liquid pouring part for pouring specified liquid such as hot water or cold water is provided at an upper part of the vend stage 11, and a specified beverage is prepared by pouring the liquid into a cup inside the vend stage 11 from the liquid pouring part. The machine is provided with a shielding body 86 between the cup arranged on the vend stage 11 and the commodity take-out port 7, and a solenoid for driving this shielding body 86. When the liquid is poured into the cup from the liquid pouring part on the vend stage 11, a space between an upper part of the cup and the commodity take-out port 7 is shielded by the shielding body 86, the shielding body 86 is driven by the solenoid after the liquid is poured, and the space between the upper part of the cup and the commodity take-out port 7 is released.
