PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily put into practice a method for neutralizing a solution by which a metal oxide is made to deposit by preparing a raw material solution and a neutralizer solution and diulting a specified amount of these solutions with a dilution liquid and further, dripping a mixed solution obtained by mixing both solution into a metallic salt solution. SOLUTION: When a solution is neutralized, a preparation step A, a dilution step B, a mixing step C, a stirring step (an additional step) and a dividing step are taken in that order to perform procedures required for each of the steps, and further, the steps from dilution B to dividing E are repeated a plural number of times to perform a neutralization reaction process. In this case, for a raw material solution, an aqueous solution of chloride, nitrate, sulfate or the like of Al, Zr, Ti or the like is used. For a neutralizer solution, a syndrogencarbonate such as a sodium hydrogencarbonate, an ammonium hydrogencarbonate or the like is used. In addition, first the prepared raw material solution and the likewise prepared neutralizer solution are diluted using a dilution solution, then both solutions are mixed and further, the stirring step D is repeated a plural number of times to neutralize the solutions.
