PURPOSE: A sludge reduction-stabilization disposal method using coagulation is provided to harden and crumb sludge, even contains high water content. Also, the method is characterized in that produced hardening-crumb is usable for various use safely. CONSTITUTION: Non-treated sludge(2) is stored at a mixing tank(1). A diluted silica soda(3) of 40-50 wt.% is mixed with non-treated sludge(2). And, an activated silica sol(4a) is added thereto, and the mixture is mixed. Then, the mixture is laid aside, so, a congelation gel having water is produced. Produced congelation having water is dried at the ground with 40-70 cm height. So, the mixture is reduced largely, and hardening-crumb, which is safe physically/chemically, is produced in a short time.
