WINDOW STRUCTURE OF EXPRESS VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A window structure of express vehicle locates a glass and a car body outside plate on a same plane so that the height difference between the glass and the car body outside plate is removed and removes a noise due to a vortex flow occurring around the window during an express traveling. CONSTITUTION: A window structure comprises a car body outside plate(51), a glass(53), and a fixing device. The car body outside plate(51) has a square shaped hole. The glass(53) is inserted in the hole of the car body outside plate(51). So the window and the outside of the car body outside plate(51) are located on the same plane. The fixing device fixes the glass(55) on the car body outside plate(51). The fixing device comprises a molding(55) and a sealant(57). The molding(55) comprises a mounting device(55a) and a supporting device(55b). The mounting device is mounted in the inside surface of a hole. The supporting device(55b) protruding from the mounting device supports the glass(53), so the outside surface of the outside plate and the glass are on the same plane. The sealant(57) is filled between the supporting device(55b) and the glass(53), and joints the glass(53) with the car body outside plate(51).
