The present invention relates to the processing of aluminosilicate raw materials when fabricating granulated materials intended to be used in different branches of industry employing pellets, for example as propping agents in oil recovery by hydraulically fracturing the oil-bearing bed. The proposed method enables solution of the following objects: improvements in the strength of pellets and the yield of predetermined fraction of pellets while simplifying the process for distributing an organic binder by adding thereof in liquid form -in an aqueous solution. The method comprises charging the starting raw materials, their moistening and mixing in a mixer-pelletizer equipped with a pan and a rotor agitator rotating at a constant speed. During the process for feeding a moistener, a rotational speed of said rotor agitator is increased directly proportionally to the amount of the added moistener (an aqueous solution of an organic binder selected from the group consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose, methyl cellulose, industrial lignosulphonates), from 300 to 3,000 rpm (from 5 to 500 m/sec). After the formation of pellets, the mixer-pelletizer is additionally loaded with milled aluminosilicate raw materials in a concentration of 10 to 50 % by weight, based on the total weight of the starting raw materials, at a rotational speed of the rotor agitator ranging from 300 to 1,500 rpm (from 5 to 25 m/sec). |
