An improved hanger and pin assembly (12) for holding, hanging and displaying merchandise, such as a plurality of louvers (11a, 11b, 11c and 11d) for window blinds, at the point of sale for such merchandise having, a generally planar member (15), a pin member (18) disposed for operative engagement with one end of the planar member (15) for removably connecting the plurality of element (11a, 11b, 11c and 11d) of merchandise to the hanger and pin assembly to form a modular unit (10a, 10b and 10c), an annular section (13) on the planar member (15) defining a sized opening (13a) at the opposite end of the planar member (15) for removably mounting the plurality of elements (11a, 11b, 11c and 11d) at the point of sale for such merchandise, and spaced protuberances (22a and 27b) medially disposed on the planar member (15) between the annular section (13) defining the sized opening (13a) for mounting the modular unit (10a, 10b, 10c) and the pin member (18) for engagement with and to stabilize the plurality of elements (11a, 11b, 11c, 11d) in assembled position. An alternate form of the hanger section of the hanger and pin assembly has an arcuate section (115a) for defining a generally sized opening (113) and a passage or side opening (figure 14 and 15) adjacent the arcuate section (115a) disposed in communication with the sized opening (113) so formed in the planar member (15).
