The machine (1) has a horizontal support surface on which the sheet of board, wood, etc., can be placed. The circular saw or routing machine is contained by the robust frame (3). Above the surface is a clamping and protection cap assembly (4, 5, 6) which is lowered onto the material. The cutting tool rises through the longitudinal groove (17) and runs along the groove operating on the clamped material. The machine is controlled from a cantilevered control box (11) and handgrips (7, 8).
